Ci is proud to be part of the Diabetes Digital Coach (DDC) Test Bed, one of seven large-scale feasibility projects making up the NHS Test Bed Programme. It brings together three themes of national importance: diabetes; self-management; and digital behaviour-change interventions.

The DDC project is delivered by a consortium of partners (including Ci) and led by the West of England Academic Health Science Network (WEAHSN). Collectively, the consortium brings expertise in healthcare and life sciences innovation, getting innovations adopted into the NHS, providing digital tools for diabetes self-management, platform development, analytics, alliance management and evaluation.

Ci's role is to advise on the data governance so that the project can enable people to trust that they can share their sensitive health data in the confidence that it will be protected.
