At Ci, we want everyone to benefit from the opportunities digital technology brings, while being able to understand and manage the risks. The pace of technological change is increasing and affecting every part of our lives. It is becoming harder for people to adapt and keep up which can lead to a widening of inequalities and a breakdown of trust, not just in the technology but also in the organisations which deploy it. To address this, we undertake a variety of work from community and education and training projects, through to high-profile research and thought leadership.
To join our team helping build trust and confidence across the UK, apply for one of the vacancies below or get in touch to discuss opportunities: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Intern opportunity: research assistant
Following the successful launch of our intern programme in January 2018, we are now looking for more enthusiastic people with an interest in all things digital who might be interested in joining our team for six months as a paid intern. We have one immediate vacancy to fill, reporting to the Director of Policy and Advocacy and working across a number of current projects, including supporting our successful Countering Violent Extremism programme (more here). We are also looking for suitable candidates to start later in the year in one or possibly two other roles. All roles will require candidates who have a background in research or policy, a demonstrable interest in the world of technology and its impact on society, and who can develop high quality analysis and evidence to support our priority projects.
